What is eCommons?

eCommons is a new resource for the Head Start and Early Head Start community to build connections, share resources and efficiently exchange ideas on how to achieve the very best for our children, families, employees and the communities we serve.  eCommons is designed to build communities in states and regions as well as by special initiatives or communities of interest.

eCommons is designed to support State and Regional Affiliates with community pages.  eCommons will support the exchange of opinions, sharing of resources, event listings, and the posting of photo and video media.

In addition, eCommons supports special initiatives or communitites of interest by encouraging dialogue among a variety of interested parties - directors, senior staff, teachers, parents and advocates.

The best part about eCommons is that YOU are the driving force.  Post a story, comment, ask questions and continue the discussion.  Our site is designed to expand, stretch, and accomodate the fast pace of exchange in Head Start today.

Want to become a member of eCommons?  Contact Edward Condon - econdon@nhsa.org or call 703-739-7568.  Be sure to tell us your state, the role you play in Head Start and the communities you are interested in joining.
